God Has Not Abandoned Us

God Has Not Abandoned Us

In these scripture verses in Psalm 62 we read of David’s words and thoughts on his trials with his enemies. Enemies can come in many forms for us, the world, Satan and our own sin to name just a few. However, we all need to remember that evil is not from God, but sometimes allowed. We need to decide for ourselves between evil and good, right and wrong, this is a gift from God. Human beings have been given the gift of free will and it is up to us to do right with this gift. During these difficult days remember if you happen to be alone or feel alone remember that there is a God who loves you very much. He wants to hear from you and He wants to give you comfort and strength. Speak to Him daily, throughout your day, speak to Him out loud, praise Him and converse with Him like you would a friend or loved one. Psalm 40:1 “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.” If you feel God is not hearing your prayers, kneel and “cry” out to Him with your praise and supplication. David saw God as his rock and salvation and we need to also see God as our rock during these difficult days. It’s best if we can possess the qualities of a true Christian, go about your life with humility and sincerity and especially have faith and trust in our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ because He is our fortress in a time of need.

We here at Faith and Encouragement have been praying for all of our followers. We ask that God save our world from the evils and immoral behavior we observe and which endures in our lives. In Jesus’ name Amen. We love, praise and thank you God for all of your grace, love, and healing for all peoples across the globe. Amen

Psalm 62:1-8 (NIV)
A psalm of David.
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. 2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will never be shaken. 3 How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down—this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 4 Surely, they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. 5 Yes, my soul, finds rest in God; my hope comes from him. 6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;he is my fortress; I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
